Terms, Cancellation & Refunds

The plain-English terms for every Bookcliff Web plan and project. Clients also sign a service agreement with the same terms.

Who we are

Bookcliff Web is a small web studio in Grand Junction, Colorado, run by Dillon Hardy and Zachery Heaven. Reach us at (720) 776-6749 or hello@bookcliffweb.com. We answer within one business day.

What you're buying

Websites, website hosting and care, Google review requests and Google Business Profile upkeep for small businesses. Every plan, its price and what it includes is listed on our pricing section. Work outside your plan is quoted first and billed only if you approve it: extra content changes $35 each, seasonal promotion pages $149, call tracking $59/month, other work $75/hour. We don't offer after-hours emergency service, phone systems or general IT support.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Monthly plans are charged in advance each month. Setup fees can be paid at once or in three monthly payments. One-time website projects are paid half at kickoff and half before launch unless your proposal says otherwise. Prices don't include sales tax; if tax applies, it's added at checkout. If a payment fails we'll email you, and if it isn't fixed within 14 days we may pause the service until it is. We give 30 days' notice by email before any price change.

Cancelling

Every monthly plan is month to month. There's no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. Cancel any time by emailing hello@bookcliffweb.com with 30 days' notice. Billing stops at the end of that notice period.

Refunds

Monthly fees are charged in advance and aren't refunded for a partial month.
Setup fees pay for work we start right away, so they aren't refundable once work begins. If you cancel before we start, we refund the setup fee in full. If you split a setup fee into three payments and cancel early, the remaining payments are due when you cancel.
Paid a year up front (12 months for the price of 10) and cancel early? We refund what you paid minus the regular monthly price for each month used.
One-time websites: you approve the site before it goes live. If you cancel before launch, we refund any amount you paid for work we haven't started yet.
Charged by mistake? Email us and we'll refund it in full. Refunds go back to the original card or bank account through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.

Google reviews and listings

No honest company can promise a number of reviews, a star rating or a Google ranking, and we don't. We never offer incentives for reviews, never ask only happy customers, and never write fake reviews. Google controls its own products and can change or remove listings and reviews at any time. Google is a trademark of Google LLC; Bookcliff Web is not affiliated with Google.

Who owns what

You own your domain name, your content, your customer data and, once it's paid for, your website design. If you leave, we give you a copy of your website files within 30 days and help move them to the host you choose.

Limits

We use reputable providers, keep daily backups and monitor sites around the clock, but no one can promise uninterrupted service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim, and neither side is liable for lost profits or other indirect losses. Colorado law applies, and any dispute is handled in Mesa County, Colorado, after we've both tried to settle it by talking.
